SLA Evidence

Timestamped, checksummed records of vendor behavior for credit conversations.

Definition

SLA evidence is an independent, timestamped record of a vendor’s observed behavior during a failure window - suitable for bringing into a service-credit conversation governed by your contract with that vendor.

The problem

Screenshots and Slack messages do not settle credit disputes. The vendor’s own status page is written by the counterparty to the claim.

Why it matters

Structured, third-party verification is the basis of successful SLA claims. Vendors honor claims backed by regional timestamps far more readily than manual reports.

Practical example

A 17-minute degradation with per-minute observations from two regions, correlated service impact, and a computed credit figure under your plan’s SLA clause - compiled into one report with a verifiable checksum.

How RELIASTRA approaches it

When a vendor incident is detected, RELIASTRA compiles independent observations, duration, correlated impact and the calculated credit amount. Reports are checksummed, bound to your organization, and verifiable without disclosing endpoints or credentials.

Know when your dependencies fail. Prove what happened.

Monitor the external APIs your product relies on, correlate their failures with your incidents, and generate verifiable evidence when a vendor causes downtime.
